Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
In short: this site uses no cookies and doesn’t track you. The only data I receive is what you send me through the contact form.
Who I am
www.cmdev.ro is run by Catalin Muresian, a private individual, who is the controller of the data described below. You can reach me through the contact form on this site or on LinkedIn.
What I collect and why
When you write to me through the contact form, I receive your name, email address and message. I use them only to reply to you and, where relevant, to talk about your project. The legal basis is your request, i.e. steps taken before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and my legitimate interest in answering the messages I receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who else receives it
The form is sent through Web3Forms, an external service that takes the message and emails it to me, so the message also ends up in my email inbox. I don’t sell, rent or give your data to anyone else.
How long I keep it
I keep messages for as long as we talk or work together, and at most 2 years after the last message, then I delete them.
Technical data
Like any web server, the server hosting this site automatically records the IP address, date, time and page requested (access logs). I use them only to keep the site secure and running, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no cookies, Google Analytics or other tracking tools. The fonts are hosted on the same server, so your browser doesn’t contact any third-party service while you read the site.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing. For any of these, write to me through the contact form. If you believe your data hasn’t been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP). www.dataprotection.ro
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date above.
